Osteomyelitis

Osteomyelitis is an infection involving bone. This could include infection resulting from hematogenous spread (bacteremia) or a continuous infection from a soft tissue source. Infections of prosthetic joints can result in local osteomyelitis as well. A PowerPoint module and associated video will review this disease in adults (below).
